Source hierarchy

Our first layer is translated primary text or a dated collection object. The second is museum cataloguing and institutional scholarship. Editorial comparison comes last and is labeled as interpretation.

Core research shelf

Request a correction

Email dravelyxoris@gmail.com with the page URL, disputed sentence, proposed correction and a link or full citation. We acknowledge a correction after a live mailbox is configured and record substantive changes on the article.

30 August 2026: Pre-publication research review completed. Distinctions among phoenix, Bennu, Firebird, fenghuang, hō-ō and simurgh were standardized. No post-publication corrections are recorded.

What changes silently

Spelling, punctuation, broken-link replacement and accessibility improvements may be made without a note when they do not alter meaning. Changes to dates, identities, attribution or interpretation receive a dated correction.
